Despise Not Small Beginnings was birthed 11 years ago around a dining room table at the request of a small group of women seeking God’s Word. What began as a humble gathering has grown into a faithful community where the power of patience and consistency is celebrated.
Since October 2024, the group has been walking through the series Living a Simple Life, beginning with the transformative topic Decluttering Your Mind—learning to quiet distractions and embrace God’s peace. Each session offers encouragement, spiritual growth, and practical application for everyday living.
Dr. Wanda D. Wilburn is a seasoned theologian,
educator, and ministry leader with decades of experience in Christian education
and church leadership. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Theological Studies, a
Master of Theology, and an earned Ph.D. in Religious Education.
She has served in various pastoral and leadership
roles, including Assistant Pastor, President of the Women’s Auxiliary, and
Bible teacher.
Dr. Wilburn serves as the Dean of Tributary Global Institute, where she leads with spiritual wisdom, academic excellence, and a heart for equipping leaders
for effective ministry and Kingdom impact.
She also serves on the Board of the Tributary Global Network, a
nonprofit organization located in Burlington County, NJ.
Of all her attributes, Dr. Wanda D. Wilburn is
above all a woman of God who has made the personal choice to submit her life to
Christ to build His Kingdom. In times like these, she leans on the Word of God
for renewed strength—her daily bread.
